The Chill Panda School
Launch Ceremony

The Chill Panda School Launch Ceremony, along with the opening of the Chill HeART Lab and Chill Energy Hub, was recently held at Lok Sin Tong Young Ko Hsiao Lin Secondary School, marking a new chapter in school-based mental health and well-being.

Today, students face unprecedented pressures from academics, social expectations, and digital distractions, leading to high levels of stress, anxiety, and burnout. Recognizing this urgent challenge, The Chill Panda brings practical tools and programs to schools that help students manage stress, strengthen emotional resilience, and cultivate focus and balance in daily life.

What began as a simple yet profound vision — “Inner peace can lead to world peace” — has grown into The Chill Panda, a character symbolizing wisdom, calm, and balance. From its start as an Amazon.com bestselling book, The Chill Panda has become a movement inspiring people to pause, reflect, and develop inner strength.

In 2022, The Chill Panda guided 16,000 people in a record-setting stillness exercise, achieving a Guinness World Record. Today, it steps into schools, equipping the next generation with practical strategies for emotional well-being and personal growth.

The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Jeff Sze, JP, Under Secretary for Education Dr. Joseph Rodrick Law, JP (Australia), creator of The Chill Panda and Co-Founder of the JC Happiness Charity Foundation and Dr. Christy Wo, Co-Founder of the JC Happiness Charity Foundation. Special thanks to celebrity charity ambassadors Moon Lau and Bowie Cheung for their support.

Supported by the JC Happiness Charity Foundation and the International Association of Mental Health Hong Kong, this initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reflects the principles of ESG. We are also grateful for our valued partner and bronze sponsor, Shanghai Commercial Bank, whose contribution supports the expansion of this transformative program.
